MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS

IvyPlus
Communication and social platform for residents and citizens of Hungary who are alumni of Ivy League Universities and other top schools of the US or rest of the World.  IvyPlus holds 4 social meetings a year plus periodic formal events.  We also have a website and groups on Facebook and LinkedIn.

Fulbright Association
We bring together Hungarian scholars who support a continuing relationship among alumni in the Fulbright spirit: “It is possible, that people can find in themselves, through intercultural education, the ways and means of living together in peace”.

Hungarian American Coalition – Congressional Internship Program Alumni
The Program allows young Hungarians to get acquainted with the workings of the U.S. Congress, through a 5 month internship. It also provides opportunity to build contacts in their professional areas of expertise.

Kellner Alumni Association
Binding together recipients of the Kellner Scholarship Program, the Kellner Alumni Association is active in organizing lectures and discussions to engage in a dialogue on Hungary’s social, economic and political development and the role of US-trained professionals in the process.

International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP)
IVLP is an exchange program of the U.S. Department of State that brings current/emerging leaders in government, politics, the media, education, business, trade, NGO-s to the USA, to meet with their professional counterparts and to build mutual understanding between the U.S. and other nations.

Hungarian Medical Association of America (HMAA)
Founded in 1968 by a small group of visionary Hungarian-born American doctors, the HMAA has been fostering relations between American physicians of Hungarian origin and health professionals working in Hungary. The two parties exchange recent advances in medicine on annual scientific multi-disciplinary symposiums in the US and Hungary. A 3-month long medical clerkship scholarship is also offered for final year Hungarian medical students to Buffalo, NY.

Hungarian American Enterprise Scholarship Fund (HAESF) Alumni
HAESF as the legacy of the Hungarian-American Enterprise Fund (1989) is creating opportunity for talented Hungarians and those of great promise to acquire professional experience in the U.S. to enhance their contribution to Hungarian society.

Calasanctius Training Program (CTP)
CTP is a private scholarship organization that has enabled 200+ selected Hungarians to earn degrees in the USA. Dr. Peter Forgach, an eye surgeon in Buffalo, NY, a recipient of the Hungarian Presidential Award, founded CTP in 1994.
